LUKE'S 30!!

His birthday was the 2nd of March. He shares a birthday with his mom. We really didn't do a whole lot but I surprised him and my parents watched the kids and stayed the night with them. I know.... WOO-HOO!!! We went to eat and were going to go see a movie but that didn't happened so we just went shopping instead and bought a few things. It was just nice to be together just the two of us.

He is such a wonderful man and a great provider for us. I don't know what I would do without him!!!

Rut...

I'm stuck in a rut with this whole blog thing. Sometimes it seems like such a chore to even want to keep it updated or to even put anything on it. I guess it just goes in spurts. I do have a hard time trying to figure out what to post on here sometimes. Some things I put on here and some I don't. It's kind of hit and miss. While this isn't a journal by any means it is a place to post happenings in our life. Much hasn't been going on to even be post worthy. I am grateful for that. Kassidy is doing great in school and Luke has been working. Dallas and I just hang out. It's pretty much the same thing everyday.
So there you have the recap of what has been going on since Christmas. Not a whole lot and that is the way we like it!

I was getting Kassidy ready for school this morning. I saw the red coming in through the blinds and I looked out of them. This is what I saw and I just had to take a picture. I'm glad I did because it didn't stay this way for long.
I LOVE moments like this!!
I LOVE looking at this picture!

Christmas 2008 Part 4

This is how we found Dallas on Christmas Day. Poor kid the dry weather did a number on him.
The kids opened presents at our house and then we went over to my parents house and opened up more! Hope everyone one had a great Christmas. We sure did.

Christmas 2008 Part 3

Here is a picture of the gingerbread house the kids made. After this picture half of the roof slide off!

Okay I will finally post the rest of the Christmas posts!

We did Christmas Eve at Luke's parents.

Santa came as well! The kids were really excited, especially Dallas.

However it may be the last Christmas Eve with this particular Santa! ;)

Some of you know why and we also have a very smart little girl.
